How are your rose sales going? For those of you who remember Arnold Nides, he sold more than 500 dozen roses each year. When asked why he was so successful, he gave some simple advice. “You just have to ask for the sale and tell them all the good done by the money raised!”
When you go out to sell roses, tell folks all the needs that are met with the income raised. Arnold Nides also came up with the idea for the coupon book. As Skyline Rotarian Wade Petrich said in the “Hermantown Star” this past week, “My wife did not care as much for the roses as she did for the New Scenic Café coupon.” So don’t forget to mention the value of the coupon book! It is free. One is given out for each dozen.
This is the time to brag about our good deeds. Be proud of our Club and let’s end this year’s Rose Sale with a bang. |
