Looking Back in History
The 1912 International Convention

by Rachael E. Martin, Club #25 Historian

The leaders of our club attended the 1911 National meeting and made the successful presentation that Rotary should not only meet in Minnesota but they should hold its 1912 meeting in Duluth.

So, the planning began.

By selecting one of the connections to the left, you will find great detail about this event.

Although Rotary was involved in Canada before the 1912 meeting of Rotary, it was at this meeting that Rotary officially became international.
